Our experience with thermoforming has resulted in us including several design stations in our office, all of which have the latest software. We possess licenses for CAD/CAM systems such as Catia, Unigraphics and ProEngineer. This enables us to reduce the time taken to carry out project and eliminate prototypes by ensuring total reliability during the design process and the subsequent production of moulds and equipment.
At Berbetores Industrial we have been working for large companies for over 30 years, providing integral packing solutions and developing ideas and new concepts for thermoforming plastic.
Integration of the entire process: Design, machining, thermoforming and finishes. This means that we can offer our clients optimum solutions both in terms of cost and time.
Currently, the third generation is laying down the solid foundation of a long term company project based around constant innovation and continuous improvements.
Machining
All of the moulds and equipment are produced by Berbetores Industrial in our workshop using CAD/CAM systems and three machining centres: two CNC centres with 3 Axis and third high speed machining centre with 5 axis.
Our machining ability makes it possible to create highly complex pieces and in a wide range of sizes for different uses.
Thermoforming
Thermoforming is a technique that consists of moulding a plastic sheet using heat and a vacuum, so that when the plastic is heated it acquires the shape of the mould.
Our range of machinery consists of 7 thermoforming machines that allow us to mould of the existing material son the market: ABS, PC, HDPE, PP, ABS+TPU, PMMA, PS, and in thicknesses ranging from 0.2 to 12mm.
The maximum dimensions of pieces that we are able to thermoform are: 3.500 x 2.500 x 950 mm
Technical resources
The thermoforming machine allows for products with a range of sizes.
Precision
The heat and vacuum shape the pieces and products outlined in the design
Supervision
The technicians carefully supervise all of the processes
Continuous thermoforming
Berbetores Industrial has a continuous thermoforming machine for disposable and low thickness products.
With this process the maximum dimensions that we are able to thermoform are 600X700 mm and the materials normally used are: ABS, PS and PET with thickness of approximately 0.2 to 2mm.
Subsidized project
Expansion of the production capacity for forming thermoplastics through the incorporation of the latest technologies and the technological modification of existing equipment, increasing the company’s competitiveness and improving its position in the international market.
